There are a couple ways to get a motion blur. You can set a slower shutter speed and follow the car as it moves down the track (called panning). My preference is Photoshop. It may not be “pure” and as perfect as good panning. When you are panning, pretty much you are committing to the shot. Odds are you are going to miss a lot of action and when using the slower shutter speed you might not get the car in focus. Most people can’t tell the difference so I’m going to keep this quiet.
